My Escape To The Movies

So the film I watched this time was About Last Night witch was directed by Steve Pink who you may know from his work in Hot Tub Time Machine and High Fidelity. About Last Night is a film based on a book by David Mamet called Sexual Perversity In Chicago but the film was written by Leslye Headland who you may know from their work in Bachelorette and Terriers. Ok so lets have a quick re-cap of the story line, so this film follows two couples Bernie and Joan and Danny and Debby as they journey from the bar to the bedroom and are eventually put it to the test in the real world. Ok so i wasn't sure who i was going to talk about the cast in the film as this film is so couple orientated so i thought i might try and talk about the couples instead of the single people. So the film I watched this week was child 44, which was directed by Daniel Espinosa who you may know from his work on Safe House and Easy Money. Child 44 was written by Richard Price who you may know from Clockers, Ransom and The Color Of Money. Ok so lets have a quick re-cap of the story line shall we, set in the Stalin ear of the Soviet union. Leo Demida is a security officer who has stumbled a-pone a series of child murders in a country where supposedly this sort of crime doesn't exist because " there is no murder in paradise". The state would not even concider or hear of a thing like a child murder let a lone a serial killer who only goes after children. so the film i watched today is 2014 Seen No Evil 2 who was directed by the Soska sister Jen and Sylvia who you may know from such other horror films as American Mary, ABCs Of Death 2 and the best name of a film i have seen in a while Dead Hooker In A Truck.  Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby both wrote this film and this was their first major film.
