About Last Night

So the film I watched this time was About Last Night witch was directed by Steve Pink who you may know from his work in Hot Tub Time Machine and High Fidelity. About Last Night is a film based on a book by David Mamet called Sexual Perversity In Chicago but the film was written by Leslye Headland who you may know from their work in Bachelorette and Terriers.

Ok so lets have a quick re-cap of the story line, so this film follows two couples Bernie and Joan and Danny and Debby as they journey from the bar to the bedroom and are eventually put it to the test in the real world.

Ok so i wasn't sure who i was going to talk about the cast in the film as this film is so couple orientated so i thought i might try and talk about the couples instead of the single people. So lets start
with Bernie and Joan, so Bernie is played by Kevin Hart who you may know from his work as a stand up comedian or from list such as The Wedding Ringer and Ride Along. Bernie and Joan met in a a club and got a little too drunk and they slept with each other and they decided to go out the next night but they both brought friends so that it wasn't that awkward but they end up getting drunk and sleeping with each other in the bath room of the club as their friends just sit there were they were left trying to make small talk. But they decide that the don't work as a couple and they just fight all the time but they kinda work in a wrong way.

So next we have the second couple witch is Danny and Debbie, Danny is played by Michael Ealy who you may know from Seven Pounds and Underworld: Awakening and Debbie you is played by
Joy Bryant who you may know from Bobby and Parenthood, but from the outside Danny and Debbie look like the perfect couple always happy smiling maybe moving a little bit fast but they are happy all the say with everything the ways that is is even if they have their ups and downs.



Ok with out giving too much way i liked this film it way funny and i dont really like rom-coms but this was quite good and now that it was based on a book it does make me want to find the book and read it to see how close it to the book. But as a rom-com its ok, had its ups and its downs just like a relations ship so for that i would give it 5/10 i most likely wont watch it again but it was ok.

Silent Hill

The film I watched today was Silent Hill directed by Christophe Gans who also directed films such as Brotherhood of the wolf witch was also a horror film, and Crying freeman with was also an action thriller horror film. The writer of this film is Roger Avary witch you may know as the person who co-wrote films such as Pulp fiction and Reservoir dogs. First of all I thought that the cast was simply perfect for this film with Radha Mitchell as Rose Da Silva who may also know her from films such as Pitch Black  with Vin Diesel and Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp.In this film she plays this brilliant mum that is willing to go to hell and back to save her daughters  life no matter what is standing in her way, and will not back away from a fight to save her own family. Next you have Jodelle Ferland who plays Roses daughter Sharon and also Alessa but I have to say even tho she plays two people in this film witch can be difficult for any actress/actor but she managed to do an a

  The very strange movie I watched this time was Airheads witch was directed by Michael Lehmann who would may know from his work on the Heathers and 40 days and 40 nights. I was quite suppressing who wrote this to be honest as it was wrote by Rich Wilkes who i know from his work on xXx and xXx: State Of The Union so it was suppressing to see him do something like this.  Ok so lets have a quick re-cap of the story line and as always i try not to give away spoilers but if i do I am sorry; so Chazz, Rey and Pip are in the new and up coming band The Lone Rangers who are trying to get there demo played on the radio for the first time.
