See No Evil 2

so the film i watched today is 2014 Seen No Evil 2 who was directed by the Soska sister Jen and Sylvia who you may know from such other horror films as American Mary, ABCs Of Death 2 and the best name of a film i have seen in a while Dead Hooker In A Truck.  Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby both wrote this film and this was their first major film.

Lets have a quick re-cap of the story line a group of friends pays a late-night visit to the city morgue to surprise Amy on her birthday. But the surprise is on them when the one-eyed corpse of brutal psychopath Jacob Goodnight unexpectedly rises from a cold sub-basement slab. Their wild party quickly turns into a terrifying slay-fest as the sadistic mass-murderer resumes his savage rampage complete with hooks, surgical knives and power saws.

So lets talk about the cats of this messed up film, first and foremost we have mister Glenn Jacobs who plays our killer Jacob goodnight but you may know him from the first see no evil or you may know him from being a part of the WWE as Kane. so as we know from the first film that Jacob Goodnight was drought up in a very religious house hold where his mother would punish any bad behavior because as always ' you will pay for your sins'. Thats what Jacob would be making sure everyone would be doing is paying for their sins.

Next we have the birthday girl Amy who is played by Danielle Harris who you may know from her work in Halloween 4. Amy is an ex med student who decided to work in a morgue rather then becoming a doctor even tho she knows that it would disappointed her family who think that they so much more then she does and how she should live her life even tho its hers to live. Even tho its her birthday she would rather cancel her plans with her friends and stay at work with her work friends as they hear on the radio that they have finally caught Jacob Goodnight who has apparently killed dozens of people.

So all of her friends are a little concerned that she decided to work on her birthday then going out and having fun with them. so they decide to go to to her work and have a surprise party there. And that's where everything goes wrong as they have an emergency call as a murder has been caught and has died so he has been taken into the morgue to have its autopsy, but is he really dead.

So my thoughts on this film is that for a squeal it is that its pretty awesome, i normally don't like horror squeals as they never stand up to the first one, but this one did a really awesome job it did freak me out a little witch i love in horror films, cause as people who doesn't like to be scared? am i right. so for that reason i am going to give it a 7/10 wasn't perfect but what horror films is.Please leave your thoughts and opinions on the film in the comments and please leave some suggestions of films that you would like me to check out as well.
